Ah, Raspberry Pi, how we are missing you. I last wrote in early June about the Pi shortage. It sort of feels were at the tipping point, as I see a few more European suppliers actually able to retain stock, and the occasional recent stock date in North America. Supply is still tight, and the mixture is weird -- some Compute Modules, some older Pi3s and the occasional Pi4. Things are improving if only slightly, and maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel? I'm going to do a full inventory of my Pi stuff and I might have to repurpose some stuff -- as I'm tired of waiting. In the past, because Pi's are so cheap, I could start, get a project working, and then put it on ice, and then come back whnever. But I think some of my older "done" projects are going to get their Pi piece re-used -- I'll leave SD/microSD card, wiring and accessories for now. Hopefully the dam will break on the supply side and I'll be able to replace these, but who know. Also, I'm so dumb that I wanted to wait to buy the new Zero2 W when they first stocked; I thought this was a local issue, and that I'd be able to grab a few boards together. So, expect some hacking and likely some k8s aimed stuff in the shorter term, once I get some other bits done.
